TYRONE CARTER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, March 7, 2023 10:30 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Regulatory Reform was called to order by Chair Tyrone Carter. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Tyrone Carter, Liberati, Neeley, Scott, Young, Grant, McFall, Snyder, Wilson, Filler, Wendzel, Aragona, Bierlein, Neyer. Absent: Rep. Mueller. Excused: Rep. Mueller. Representative Neeley moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 28, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid before the committee a presentation by Paige Fults, Director, Office of Policy and Legislative Affairs, Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Questions and discussion followed. At 11:01 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 11:04 AM, the Chair called the committee back to order. The Chair laid before the Committee a presentation by Brian Hanna, Director, Cannabis Regulatory Agency, and Derek Sova, Policy and Legislative Specialist, Cannabis Regulatory Agency. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Filler moved to excuse Representative Mueller from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
