LAURIE POHUTSKY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, March 16, 2023 10:30 AM Room 327, House Office Building The House Committee on Natural Resources, Environment, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation was called to order by Chair Pohutsky. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Pohutsky, Shannon, Arbit, McFall, Paiz, Martin, Prestin, Schriver. Absent: Rep. Hill. Excused: Rep. Hill. Representative Martin moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 9, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid a presentation from the Michigan Association of Conservation Districts before the committee. Executive Director Dan Moilanen and President Dr. Gerald Miller of the Michigan Association of Conservation Districts gave an overview presentation on their organization. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Shannon moved to excuse Representative Hill from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Chair Pohutsky adjourned the meeting at 11:00 AM.
