- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION, MOBILITY AND INFRASTRUCTURE REP. NATE SHANNON CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, March 21, 2023 10:30 AM Room 521, House Office Building The House Committee on Transportation, Mobility and Infrastructure was called to order by Chair Shannon. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Shannon, MacDonell, Coleman, Conlin, Farhat, Fitzgerald, Miller, Outman, Roth, Bruck, Kunse, St. Germaine. Absent: Rep. Hoskins. Excused: Rep. Hoskins. Representatives Coleman and Bruck joined the Committee remotely. Representative Conlin moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 14, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid the presentation from the Michigan State Police before the Committee. Sergeant Travis Fletcher and Trooper Kristina Droste, both representing the Michigan State Police, provided a presentation on the History of the Michigan State Police and their Role in Transportation, Mobility, and Infrastructure within the State of Michigan. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid the presentation from the Michigan Office of Future Mobility and Electrification before the Committee. Kathryn Snorrason and Todd Cook, both representing the Michigan Office of Future Mobility and Electrification, provided a presentation on the Michigan Office of Future Mobility and Electrification. Questions and discussion followed. Representative St. Germaine moved to excuse Representative Hoskins from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
