- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURE REP. REGGIE MILLER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, June 14, 2023 9:00 AM Room 327, House Office Building The House Committee on Agriculture was called to order by Chair Miller. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Miller, Stone, Young, Coffia, Dievendorf, Fitzgerald, Rheingans, Neyer, VanderWall, Roth, Bierlein, Smit. Absent: Rep. Paiz. Excused: Rep. Paiz. Representative Young moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 7, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid before the committee a presentation from the Michigan State University Agriculture Extension program. Dr. Quentin Tyler, representing the Michigan State University Extension program, gave a presentation. Questions and discussion followed. Deanna East, from Michigan State University Agriculture Extension program, joined to answer questions from the committee. Representative Young moved to excuse Representative Paiz from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Chair Miller adjourned the meeting.
