The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Fitzgerald, Byrnes, Shannon, Breen, Rogers, Hill, Hoskins, Paiz, Zorn, Paquette, Bezotte, BeGole, Prestin. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Byrnes moved to adopt the meeting minutes from September 6, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4860 before the committee: HB 4860 (Rep. Mentzer) A bill to amend 1947 PA 359, entitled "The charter township act," by amending section 7 (MCL 42.7), as amended by 1992 PA 15.
