The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Tyrone Carter, Liberati, Neeley, Scott, Young, Grant, McFall, Snyder, Wilson, Mueller, Filler, Wendzel, Aragona, Bierlein, Neyer. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Bierlein moved to adopt the meeting minutes from October 3, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4048 before the committee: HB 4048 (Rep. Outman) A bill to amend 1972 PA 239, entitled "McCauley- Traxler-Law-Bowman-McNeely lottery act," by amending section 25 (MCL 432.25), as amended by 1998 PA 465. Representative Liberati moved to report out HB 4048 with recommendation. The motion prevailed 15-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Representative Prestin and Representative Fitzgerald testified in support of HB 4613 and HB 4614. Questions and discussion followed.
