- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS REP. MIKE HOADLEY CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES The House Committee on Economic Competitiveness was called to order by Chair Hoadley. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Hoadley, Bohnak, Outman, Harris, BeGole, DeBoyer, St. Germaine, Grant, Brixie and Tate. Absent: Rep. Coffia. Excused: Rep. Coffia. Representative Outman moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 20, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid a presentation from the Home Builders of Michigan and the Michigan Municipal League before the committee. Dawn Crandall, representing the Home Builders Association of Michigan, and Jennifer Rigterink, representing the Michigan Municipal League, provided a presentation on the Housing Crisis. Questions and discussions followed. Representative St. Germaine moved to excuse Representative Coffia from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Chair Hoadley adjourned the meeting at 11:16 AM.
