TYRONE CARTER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, February 27, 2024 10:30 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Regulatory Reform was called to order by Chair Tyrone Carter. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Tyrone Carter, Liberati, Neeley, Scott, Young, Grant, McFall, Snyder, Wilson, Mueller, Filler, Wendzel, Aragona, Bierlein, Neyer. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Aragona moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 20, 2024. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4886, HB 4887, HB 4888 and HB 4889 before the committee: HB 4886 (Rep. Aragona) A bill to amend 1987 PA 96, entitled "The mobile home commission act," (MCL 125.2301 to 125.2350) by adding section 30j. HB 4887 (Rep. Mueller) A bill to amend 1987 PA 96, entitled "The mobile home commission act," by amending section 28 (MCL 125.2328), as amended by 1993 PA 241. HB 4888 (Rep. McKinney) A bill to amend 1987 PA 96, entitled "The mobile home commission act," by amending sections 4, 5, 16, and 43 (MCL 125.2304, 125.2305, 125.2316, and 125.2343), sections 4, 16, and 43 as amended by 2015 PA 40 and section 5 as amended by 2006 PA 328. HB 4889 (Rep. Fitzgerald) A bill to amend 1978 PA 454, entitled "Truth in renting act," by amending section 6 (MCL 554.636) and by adding section 4a.
