The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Excused: Rep. Whitsett. Representative Thompson joined the committee remotely. Representative Rheingans moved to adopt the meeting minutes from April 18, 2024. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid SB 449 and SB 450 before the committee: SB 449 (Sen. Daley) A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled "The social welfare act," (MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 108b. SB 450 (Sen.
