- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON FAMILIES, CHILDREN AND SENIORS REP. STEPHANIE A. YOUNG CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, May 21, 2024 12:00 PM Room 326, House Office Building The House Committee on Families, Children and Seniors was called to order by Chair Young. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Young, Coffia, Glanville, Edwards, MacDonell, Wozniak, Fox, Johnsen, Thompson. Absent: Rep. Arbit. Excused: Rep. Arbit. Representative Glanville moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 14, 2024. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. At 12:05 PM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 12:08 PM, the Chair called the committee back to order. Representative Coffia moved to report out SB 498 with recommendation. The motion prevailed 9-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Young, Coffia, Glanville, Edwards, MacDonell, Wozniak, Fox, Johnsen, Thompson. Nays: None. Pass: None. Representative Edwards moved to excuse Representative Arbit from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Chair Young adjourned the meeting at 12:10 PM. Representative Stephanie A.
