A meeting of the Senate Committee on Insurance and Banking was scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2021,

The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:09 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the
following members were present: Chair Theis, Sen.(s) Lauwers, LaSata, Nesbitt, Barrett, Horn, Geiss, Bullock
and McMorrow, a quorum was present.
The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Lauwers to adopt the meeting minutes from October 20, 2021. Without
objection, the minutes were adopted.
The Chair made a motion to adopt the (S-2) version of SB 447. The vote was as follows:
Yeas: Chair Theis, Sen.(s) Lauwers, LaSata, Nesbitt, Barrett, Horn, Geiss, Bullock, and McMorrow.
Nays: None
The motion prevailed and the (S-2) was adopted.
The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding SB 447:
