The question being on the adoption of the amendments, Senator Hertel withdrew the amendments. Senator Hertel offered the following amendments: 1. Amend page 1, line 1, after “3212.” by inserting “ (1) ”. 2. Amend page 3, following line 6, by inserting: “ (2) The party foreclosing the mortgage shall not publish a notice of foreclosure under this chapter in a newspaper in which the party foreclosing, or its agent, has a majority ownership interest. ”. The amendments were not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor. Senator Chang requested the yeas and nays.
