Amend page 13, line 12, after “211.” by striking out all of subsections (1) and (2) and inserting “Money appropriated in part 1 must not be used to require actions related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); to restrict or impede any community’s access to government resources, programs, or facilities; or to diminish, interfere with, or restrict an individual’s ability to exercise rights as outlined under the State Constitution.”. The motion did not prevail and the amendment was not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor. Rep. Weiss moved that the bill be placed on the order of Third Reading of Bills.
