- Rep. Meerman moved to amend the bill as follows: 1. Amend page 13, line 12, after “211.” by striking out all of subsections (1) and (2) and inserting “Money appropriated in part 1 must not be used to require actions related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); to restrict or impede any community’s access to government resources, programs, or facilities; or to diminish, interfere with, or restrict an individual’s ability to exercise rights as outlined under the State Constitution.”. The motion did not prevail and the amendment was not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor. Rep. Weiss moved that the bill be placed on the order of Third Reading of Bills. The motion prevailed. Rep. Aiyash moved that the bill be placed on its immediate passage. The motion prevailed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
