House Bill No. 4427, entitled
A bill to amend 1976 PA 442, entitled “Freedom of information act,” by amending sections 1, 2, 3, and 5 (MCL 15.231, 15.232, 15.233, and 15.235), section 1 as amended by 1997 PA 6, section 2 as amended by 2018 PA 68, section 3 as amended by 2018 PA 523, and section 5 as amended by 2020 PA 36.
(The bill was read a third time, amended and postponed temporarily on June 11, see House Journal No. 52, p. 673.)
The question being on the passage of the bill,
Rep. Young moved to amend the bill as follows:
1. Amend page 12, line 18, after “ corrections ” by inserting a comma and “ Michigan state police, ”.
2. Amend page 12, line 22, after “ corrections ” by inserting a comma and “ Michigan state police, ”.
3. Amend page 12, line 24, after “ corrections ” by inserting a comma and “ Michigan state police, ”.
The motion was seconded and the amendments were adopted, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
