Damoose) A bill to amend 1950 (Ex Sess) PA 27, entitled "Motor vehicle sales finance act," by amending section 13 (MCL 492.113), as amended by 2009 PA 231. HB 5432 (Rep. Hertel) A bill to amend 1956 PA 218, entitled "The insurance code of 1956," by amending section 127 (MCL 500.127), as added by 2009 PA 230. Representative Beeler testified in support of HB 5429, HB 5430, HB 5431 and HB 5432. Aaron Lunt, representing the Guaranteed Asset Protection Alliance, testified in support of HB 5429, HB 5430, HB 5431 and HB 5432. The Chair laid HR 158 before the committee: HR 158 (Rep. Yaroch) A resolution to urge the Congress of the United States to clarify its position on the legality of marijuana under the Controlled Substances Act of 1970.
