Representative Jeff Yaroch, the bill sponsor, explained HB 6086, and Representative Gregory Markkanen, the bill sponsor, explained HB 6088. Questions followed. Montgomery Nye, 5th District Vice President for the Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union, and Ralph Ortiz, a member of the Lansing Fire Department representing the Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union, testified in support of HB 6086 and HB 6088.
