- Representative Wendzel moved to adopt the meeting minutes from June 23, 2020. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 5820 and HB 5821 before the committee: HB 5820 (Rep. Miller) A bill to amend 1984 PA 270, entitled "Michigan strategic fund act," (MCL 125.2001 to 125.2094) by adding section 88s. HB 5821 (Rep. Peterson) A bill to amend 1967 PA 281, entitled "Income tax act of 1967," (MCL 206.1 to 206.713) by adding section 280. Representative Aaron Miller and Representative Ronnie Peterson, bill sponsors for HB 5820 and HB 5821, testified on their bills. Questions and discussion followed.
