The Chair laid HB 5899 before the committee: HB 5899 (Rep. Jaime Greene) A bill to create an artificial intelligence governing board and prescribe its powers and duties; to require the creation of an artificial intelligence pilot program; to provide for the powers and duties of certain state governmental officers and entities; to create funds; and to provide for the promulgation of rules. At 10:35 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 10:36 AM, Majority Vice Chair Kunse called the committee back to order. Representative Greene testified in support of HB 5899.
