    Representative Paiz moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 2, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4083 before the committee: HB 4083 (Rep. Rogers) A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled "Natural resources and environmental protection act," (MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding subpart 3 to part 147. Representative Julie Rogers introduced HB 4083. Questions and discussion followed. Rachael Grover, Director of Planning and Development- Kalamazoo Country, testified in support of HB 4083. Michelle Batora, representing the Michigan Cleaners Association, testified in opposition to HB 4083. Steve Fry, representing the Presidential Cleaners, testified in opposition to HB 4083.
