The following bill was announced: House Bill No. 4842, entitled A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled “Michigan liquor control code of 1998,” by amending section 233 (MCL 436.1233), as amended by 2020 PA 126. (This bill was returned from the House as requested on Thursday, May 26. See Senate Journal No. 52, p. 819.) Senator LaSata moved to reconsider the vote by which the bill was passed. The motion prevailed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Nesbitt offered the following substitute: Substitute (S-2). The substitute was adopted, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
