- Resolved by the House of Representatives, That we oppose the resumption of capital punishment by the federal government and urge Attorney General Barr and the U.S. Department of Justice to immediately reverse its decision to resume executions; and be it further Resolved, That copies of this resolution be transmitted to the President of the United States, the Attorney General of the United States, and the members of the Michigan congressional delegation. The resolution was referred to the Committee on Judiciary. Third Reading of Bills House Bill No. 4018, entitled A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled “Natural resources and environmental protection act,” by amending section 48738 (MCL 324.48738), as amended by 2014 PA 541. Was read a third time and passed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor, by yeas and nays, as follows:
