Context text: “Sec. 808. From the funds appropriated in part 1 for skilled nursing facility employee COVID-19 grants, there is allocated for 2019-2020 only an amount not to exceed $19,000,000.00 for equal payments to eligible direct care workers employed by skilled nursing facilities. Grants made under this section shall be up to $500.00 per full-time equated eligible direct care worker. The department may retain up to 1/2 of 1% of the funds allocated under this section for administration of this section. As used in this section, “direct care workers” means a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, competency-evaluated nursing assistant, and respiratory therapist.”.
