- Messages from the Senate House Bill No. 5339, entitled A bill to amend 1995 PA 29, entitled “An act concerning unclaimed property; to provide for the reporting and disposition of unclaimed property; to make uniform the law concerning unclaimed property; to prescribe the powers and duties of certain state agencies and officials; to prescribe penalties and provide remedies; and to repeal acts and parts of acts,” by amending section 36a (MCL 567.256a), as added by 2016 PA 312. (The bill was enrolled earlier today, see today’s Journal, p. 2166.) Rep. Webber moved to reconsider the vote by which the House concurred in the Senate substitute (S-3). The motion prevailed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
