- The motion prevailed. Messages from the Senate The Speaker laid before the House House Bill No. 5825, entitled A bill to amend 1893 PA 206, entitled “The general property tax act,” (MCL 211.1 to 211.155) by adding section 33a. (The bill was received from the Senate on December 8, with substitute (S-1), full title inserted and immediate effect given by the Senate, consideration of which, under the rules, was postponed until December 9, see House Journal No. 95, p. 2509.)
