- Pending the order that, under rule 3.202, the bill be laid over one day, Senator MacGregor moved that the rule be suspended. The motion prevailed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor. The question being on concurring in the substitute made to the bill by the House, Senator Irwin offered the following amendments: 1. Amend page 24, line 11, after “(5)” by striking out “Notwithstanding other provisions of this chapter,” and inserting “ AN INSURER SHALL NOT ESTABLISH OR MAINTAIN RATES OR RATING CLASSIFICATIONS FOR ”. 2. Amend page 24, line 12, after “insurance” by striking out “risks may be grouped by” and inserting “ BASED ON THE ”. 3. Amend page 24, line 12, after “territory” by striking out “ IN WHICH THE INSURED RESIDES OR WORKS. ” The amendments were not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor. Senator Irwin requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
