- Excused—0 Not Voting—0 In The Chair: Nesbitt Senator Geiss offered the following amendments: 1. Amend page 5, line 10, by striking out “10,000,000” and inserting “20,000,000”. 2. Amend page 5, line 17, by striking out “185,000,000” and inserting “195,000,000” and adjusting the subtotals, totals, and section 201 accordingly 3. Amend page 29, following line 1, by inserting: “(d) Not more than $10,000,000.00 to create a fund to help reimburse employers for the cost of paid sick leave for employees who have had COVID-19 symptoms, who have had to quarantine due to potential exposure to COVID-19, or who have cared for someone who is symptomatic for COVID-19.”. The question being on the adoption of the amendments, Senator Chang requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
