Senate Bill No. 855, entitled A bill to ensure access to quality complex rehabilitation technology in the Medicaid program for people with complex medical needs; and to prescribe the powers and duties of certain state departments. The House of Representatives has amended the bill as follows: 1. Amend page 3, line 18, after “Suppliers” by inserting a comma and “or an individual approved by the department, but only if a certified complex rehabilitation technology supplier is unavailable”. 2. Amend page 3, line 20, after “entity” by inserting “approved by the department, but only if a certified complex rehabilitation technology supplier is unavailable, or a company or entity”. 3. Amend page 5, line 21, after “items.” by striking out the balance of subdivision. The House of Representatives has passed the bill as amended and ordered that it be given immediate effect. Pending the order that, under rule 3.202, the bill be laid over one day, Senator MacGregor moved that the rule be suspended. The motion prevailed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
