- Resolved by the House of Representatives, That the members of this legislative body declare March 2026 as Kidney Month in the state of Michigan. We commend efforts to increase awareness, promote early detection and screening, and improve prevention and treatment strategies to protect the kidney health of all Michigan residents. The question being on the adoption of the resolution, The resolution was adopted. Third Reading of Bills House Bill No. 5162, entitled A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” by amending section 7204 (MCL 333.7204), as amended by 2012 PA 182. Was read a third time and passed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor, by yeas and nays as follows:
