Rheingans, having reserved the right to explain her protest against the passage of the bill, made the following statement: “Mr. Speaker and members of the House: I voted no on SB 301 because I believe that ALL employees deserve 12 weeks of paid leave for medical and family issues, not only employees who donate organs.” House Bill No. 5123, entitled A bill to amend 2006 PA 480, entitled “Uniform video services local franchise act,” by amending section 1 (MCL 484.3301). Was read a third time and passed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor, by yeas and nays as follows:
