House Bill No. 6074, entitled A bill to prohibit certain companies from acquiring or purchasing certain residential property; to provide for the powers and duties of certain state officers and entities; and to prescribe certain penalties, civil sanctions, and remedies. The Senate has substituted (S-1) the bill. The Senate has passed the bill as substituted (S-1) and ordered that it be given immediate effect. The Speaker announced that pursuant to Rule 41, the bill was laid over one day. Rep. Posthumus moved that Rule 41 be suspended. The motion prevailed, 3/5 of the members present voting therefor.
