In The Chair: Geiss Senator Webber offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 41, following line 24, by inserting: “Sec. 514. From the funds appropriated in part 1 for the bureau of professional licensing, the department must expend not less $200,000.00 for grants to the Michigan Association of CPAs for the maintenance and operation of the Continuing Professional Education Tracker and web portal.”. The amendment was not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor. Senator Huizenga offered the following amendments: 1. Amend page 11, line 12, by striking out “200,000” and inserting “400,000”. 2. Amend page 11, line 13, by striking out “3,200,000” and inserting “3,400,000”. 3. Amend page 11, line 17, after “$” by striking out “200,000” and inserting “400,000”, and adjusting the subtotals, totals, and section 201 accordingly. The amendments were not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor.
