(This resolution was adopted on Wednesday, October 29, and a Point of Order was raised and postponed for the day. See Senate Journal No. 99, p. 1672.) Pending a ruling from the Chair, Senator Lauwers withdrew his Point of Order. Senator Lauwers moved that Senators Daley and Theis be excused from the balance of today’s session. The motion prevailed. Senator Singh moved to reconsider the vote by which the concurrent resolution was adopted. The motion prevailed. The question being on the adoption of the concurrent resolution, Senator Singh requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
