- The House of Representatives has passed the bill as substituted (H-1), ordered that the bill be given immediate effect and amended the title to read as follows: A bill to amend 2022 PA 81, entitled “An act to provide for the recovery or replacement of durable monuments defining the Michigan-Indiana state line; to create a commission; to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and agencies; and to repeal acts and parts of acts,” by amending sections 5, 7, 11, and 13 (MCL 54.315, 54.317, 54.321, and 54.323); and to repeal acts and parts of acts. Pending the order that, under rule 3.202, the bill be laid over one day, Senator Singh moved that the rule be suspended. The motion prevailed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
