- In The Chair: Cherry The Senate agreed to the title of the bill. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 465, entitled A bill to amend 1915 PA 31, entitled “Youth tobacco act,” (MCL 722.641 to 722.645) by adding section 1i. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Singh offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 2, line 4, by striking out all of enacting section 1 and inserting: “Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 462 of the 103rd Legislature is enacted into law.”. The amendment was adopted, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
