- The motion prevailed. Senate Bill No. 158, entitled A bill to regulate the online sale of tickets for entertainment events; and to prohibit the use of a bot to make certain purchases for tickets for entertainment events. The House of Representatives has amended the bill as follows: 1. Amend page 3, line 2, by striking out all of enacting section 1 and inserting: “Enacting section 1. This act does not take effect unless House Bill No. 4262 of the 103rd Legislature is enacted into law.”. The House of Representatives has passed the bill as amended and ordered that it be given immediate effect. Pending the order that, under rule 3.202, the bill be laid over one day, Senator Singh moved that the rule be suspended. The motion prevailed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
