- (h) That the actions of individuals serve as an indictment against the race or gender of those individuals . (2) State funding must not be used for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives or programs as outlined in Executive Order No. 14190, “Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling”. (3) A district or intermediate district shall provide notice to a student’s parent or legal guardian if the student requests to be addressed by a different name or with different pronouns. (4) If a district or intermediate district fails to meet the requirements of this section, the department shall withhold 5% of the district’s or intermediate district’s allocation under section 22b until the district or intermediate district complies with this section. If the district or intermediate district does not comply with this section by the end of the fiscal year, the department shall place the amount withheld in an escrow account until the district or intermediate district complies with this section. ”.
