- A bill to amend 1978 PA 454, entitled “Truth in renting act,” by amending section 3 (MCL 554.633), as amended by 1998 PA 72. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator McBroom offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 4, following line 20, by inserting: “Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless all of the following bills of the 103rd Legislature are enacted into law: (a) House Bill No. 4007. (b) House Bill No. 4283.”. The amendment was not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor.
