Senator Singh moved that the bill be given immediate effect. The motion prevailed, 2/3 of the members serving voting therefor. Pursuant to Joint Rule 20, the full title of the act shall be inserted to read as follows: “An act to establish certain standards for foster care and adoption services for children and their families; and to prescribe powers and duties of certain state agencies and departments and adoption facilitators,” The Senate agreed to the full title. The following bill was read a third time: House Bill No. 4644, entitled A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled “Michigan vehicle code,” by amending section 657a (MCL 257.657a), as amended by 2018 PA 139.
