- The amendments were not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor. Senator McMorrow offered the following substitute: Substitute (S-3). The question being on the adoption of the substitute, Senator McBroom offered the following amendments to the substitute: 1. Amend page 2, line 22, after “ representatives ” by striking out the balance of the subsection and inserting “ for approval. Not later than 45 days after the plan is received, the legislature may reject the plan by concurrent resolution of the legislature adopted by a majority of the members elected to and serving in each house. If the plan is not rejected within the 45-day period, the plan is approved. ”. 2. Amend page 2, line 24, after “ and ” by striking out “ submitted ” and inserting “ approved ”. The amendments to the substitute were not adopted. The question being on the adoption of the substitute, The substitute was adopted, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
