- Rep. Aiyash moved that the bill be given immediate effect. The motion prevailed, 2/3 of the members serving voting therefor. House Bill No. 4341, entitled A bill to create a program to assist certain child care centers and schools with the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of certain filtered water stations and faucets; to provide for the sampling and testing of water from certain water outlets; to create certain funds; and to provide for the duties of certain state departments and officers. The bill was read a third time. The question being on the passage of the bill, Rep. Puri moved to amend the bill as follows: 1. Amend page 6, line 21, after the second “the” by striking out “2024-2025” and inserting “2025-2026”. 2. Amend page 7, line 2, after the second “the” by striking out “2024-2025” and inserting “2025-2026”. The motion was seconded and the amendments were adopted, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
