Wilson moved to amend the title to read as follows: A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled “Michigan election law,” by amending section 759a (MCL 168.759a), as amended by 2023 PA 25; and to repeal acts and parts of acts. The motion prevailed. The House agreed to the title as amended. Rep. Wilson moved that the bill be given immediate effect. The motion prevailed, 2/3 of the members serving voting therefor. House Bill No. 4926, entitled A bill to amend 1893 PA 206, entitled “The general property tax act,” by amending section 14a (MCL 211.14a), as amended by 2022 PA 240.
