House Bill No. 5141, entitled A bill to amend 1976 PA 388, entitled “Michigan campaign finance act,” by amending section 47 (MCL 169.247), as amended by 2015 PA 269, and by adding section 59. The bill was read a third time. The question being on the passage of the bill, Rep. Bierlein moved to amend the bill as follows: 1. Amend page 6, line 20, by striking out all of subdivision (a) and relettering the remaining subdivisions. The motion was seconded and the amendment was adopted, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
