- Rep. Aiyash moved that the bill be given immediate effect. The motion prevailed, 2/3 of the members serving voting therefor. House Bill No. 5534, entitled A bill to require the supreme court to analyze certain trial court costs and revenue sources; and to develop legislative proposals to change trial court funding. The bill was read a third time. The question being on the passage of the bill, Rep. Breen moved to amend the bill as follows: 1. Amend page 4, following line 10, by inserting: “(h) Law enforcement agencies, including, but not limited to, the Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police and the Michigan Sheriffs’ Association.”. The motion was seconded and the amendment was adopted, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
