Pending the order that, under rule 3.204, the concurrent resolution be referred to the Committee on Government Operations, Senator Singh moved that the rule be suspended. The motion prevailed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor. The concurrent resolution was adopted . By unanimous consent the Senate returned to the order of Motions and Communications President Pro Tempore The President, Lieutenant Governor Gilchrist, announced that the next order of business was the election of the President pro tempore of the Senate. Senator Brinks nominated Senator Moss as President pro tempore of the Senate. Senator Nesbitt seconded the nomination. The question being on the election of Senator Moss as President pro tempore of the Senate, The election was approved, a majority of the members serving voting therefor, as follows:
