House Bill No. 4007 The motion prevailed. The following bill was read a third time: House Bill No. 4007, entitled A bill to require prevailing wages and fringe benefits on state projects; to establish the requirements and responsibilities of contracting agents and bidders; to make appropriations for the implementation of this act; and to prescribe penalties. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Theis offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 11, following line 6, by inserting: “Sec. 9. The governor shall issue an updated budget recommendation that accurately reflects the negative fiscal impact of this act.”. The amendment was not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor.
