Amend page 22, following line 11, by inserting: “ (5) Community colleges that exceed the tuition and fee rate cap described in subsection (2) will not receive a planning or construction authorization for a state-funded capital outlay project in fiscal year 2024-2025 or 2025-2026. ”. The question being on the adoption of the amendment, Senator Lauwers requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
