Senator Bellino offered the following amendments: 1. Amend page 10, following line 28, by inserting: “Soar road and bridge investment 500,000,000” and adjusting the subtotals, totals, and section 201 accordingly. 2. Amend page 37, following line 25, by inserting: “Sec. 1011. From the funds deposited in the strategic outreach and attraction reserve fund created in the Michigan trust fund act, 2000 PA 489, MCL. 12.254, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, the state treasurer shall lapse $500,000,000.00 to the general fund and deposit $500,000,000.00 from the general fund into the Michigan transportation fund created in section 10 of 1951 PA 51, MCL 247.660, for distribution as per the following: (1) $178,981,900.00 general fund distributed among cities and villages in accordance with section 13 of 1951 PA 51, MCL 247.663, to be used by cities and villages as provided under that section. (2) $321,018,100.00 general fund distributed among county road commissions, as defined by section 10c of 1951 PA 51, MCL 247.660c, in accordance with section 12 of 1951 PA 51, MCL 247.662, to be used by county road commissions as provided under that section.”. The question being on the adoption of the amendments, Senator Lauwers requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
