Amend page 97, following line 6, by inserting: “Sec. 661. From the funds appropriated in part 1, the department shall create policy changes to decrease the average application time for the child development and care program by 50% and increase funding for marketing efforts to aid in communication about the child development and care program from funds appropriated in the current fiscal year.”. The question being on the adoption of the amendment, Senator Lauwers requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
