- Today is her last day and I just want to say thank you, Brandy, for your service to Senate District No. 5. Recess Senator Singh moved that the Senate recess subject to the call of the Chair. The motion prevailed, the time being 10:21 a.m. 10:32 a.m. The Senate was called to order by the President, Lieutenant Governor Gilchrist. Senator Singh moved to reconsider the vote by which the following bill was passed: Senate Bill No. 194, entitled A bill to make, supplement, adjust, and consolidate appropriations for the department of labor and economic opportunity for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2023 and September 30, 2024; to provide for certain conditions on appropriations; and to provide for the expenditure of the appropriations. The motion prevailed, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
